A.R.M. Group stands for Asset Reliability & Maintenance Group, and that is exactly what we do: manage and maintain loading equipment to ensure maximum reliability. This includes loading arms, gangways, safety cages, folding stairs, hose towers, and smaller components such as dry connect couplings.

Core activity:

Core activity: Total asset management of loading equipment

We ensure that you not only receive rapid assistance in the event of a breakdown, but above all that you gain complete control over your installations: insight, maintenance, history, improvement actions, and reporting, all under one roof.

From our fully equipped workshop, strategically located near the Antwerp port region, we combine practical experience with a structured approach. This enables us to not only respond quickly to unexpected downtime, but also to proactively add value to your assets.

Our approach is based on one central point: A.R.M. Group as your partner in managing your loading equipment.

Our integrated vision

Whether it concerns setting up an asset tree, analyzing bad actors or optimizing spare parts management: we ensure continuity, safety and maximum performance of your loading equipment.

Asset tree structure and management

Structure as a basis
A reliable installation starts with a solid overview. That is why we start by building an asset tree: a structured overview in which each part of the loading installation is clearly assigned a place.

This digital structure forms the basis for:

  • Targeted maintenance
  • Quick fault analysis
  • Clear history and reporting
  • Efficient management of spare parts
  • Preventive follow-up per asset

We will build a tailored asset tree for your installation, manage it, and keep it up to date. This ensures that the documentation remains aligned with reality, enabling us to manage your assets more effectively.

Inspections & preventive maintenance

Reliable installations require structural follow-up
At A.R.M. Group, we go beyond ad hoc repairs by keeping your loading installations in top condition with a well-designed maintenance schedule.

Each installation is assessed based on type, frequency of use, and risk. We then tailor maintenance intervals accordingly, including:

  • Visual and functional inspections
  • Lubrication, adjustments
  • Checking safety components
  • Reporting with follow up actions

This approach reduces downtime and extends the lifetime of your installation. Our service engineers carry out the work with professional equipment, according to fixed procedures and with uniform reporting. This means you always have a clear history and follow up per asset.

Professional & uniform reporting

Insight starts with clear reporting
At A.R.M. Group, we believe that maintenance is only truly valuable if the results are recorded in a transparent, structured manner and according to a fixed format.

That is why we provide a professional and uniform report for every intervention, whether it concerns inspection, maintenance, or repair, drawn up according to fixed templates. In this way, you always know what has been done, what has been observed, and what actions may be necessary.

Our reports include:

  • Asset references and locations
  • Technical findings and work carried out
  • Supporting photos or measurement results
  • Possible recommendations or risks
  • Clear follow-up and status

All information is managed centrally and linked to the asset tree. This makes it possible to detect trends, plan maintenance, and substantiate investments. In other words: reporting as the foundation of professional asset management.

Call out (24/7)

Sometimes every minute counts
Loading equipment breakdown often has direct consequences for planning, safety, and revenue. That is why A.R.M. Group is ready to intervene quickly and effectively when it matters.

Our 24/7 intervention service ensures that you can count on experienced technicians who know your installation, even outside office hours. Thanks to our central location in Antwerp and a well-equipped workshop, we can respond quickly and repair on site where possible.

Our approach in case of a breakdown:

  • Fast response time thanks to central location
  • On-site diagnosis and repair
  • Reporting after intervention with recommendations
  • Possibility of structural analysis in case of repeated breakdowns

At A.R.M. Group, it’s not just about fixing the breakdown, but also about preventing it from happening again. We link interventions to your asset tree and help identify root causes so that your installation remains reliable.

Collecting data history

To manage assets effectively, insights into the past are essential.
At A.R.M. Group, we believe it is important to gather historical data on all your loading equipment. Every inspection, intervention, or repair is carefully recorded and linked to the correct asset within the asset tree. This allows you to evolve from reactive maintenance to proactive and strategic asset management.

This history forms an essential basis for:

  • Trend analysis of recurring breakdowns
  • Sound investment decisions
  • Targeted preventive maintenance
  • Insight into wear and tear and service life
  • Accountability towards audits and safety services

Met een heldere historiek maakt u betere keuzes voor de toekomst.

Bad actor analysis & improvement recommendations

Some installations or components continue to cause a disproportionate number of problems.
Instead of repairing over and over again, we at A.R.M. Group look for the root cause of the problem. With a targeted bad actor analysis, we identify the weak links in your loading installations.

Together with you, we analyze:

  • Frequency and nature of breakdowns
  • Time to repair and impact on operations
  • Underlying technical issues or user related problems
  • Design, material, or installation optimizations
  • Maintenance strategy and spare parts management

Based on this analysis, we formulate specific improvements. These vary from simple adjustments to working methods or settings to replacing or redesigning components. Our goal: structural solutions that increase reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

This approach allows you to move from treating symptoms to sustainable asset management, resulting in lower costs and improved predictability.

Spare parts management

Well-organized spare parts management is crucial to reduce downtime and enable efficient maintenance.
Thanks to our technical expertise and experience with a wide range of brands and components, we know exactly which parts are critical and which should be kept in stock strategically.

We keep a selection of spare parts available in our own workshop for rapid interventions. For more specific parts, we work with preferred suppliers and manufacturers so that we can respond quickly to repairs or planned replacements.

Our approach to spare parts management is:

  • Focused on availability for critical interventions
  • Supported by experience with brands such as Kanon, Wiese, WLT, etc.
  • Tailored to practical experience and maintenance history
  • Integrated into our service and maintenance planning

By managing this ourselves, we reduce waiting times, increase the efficiency of our interventions, and guarantee the continuity of your installation — without being dependent on long delivery times or ad hoc orders.

Complete overhauls

Sometimes preventive maintenance is no longer sufficient and a complete overhaul is the most sustainable choice.
At A.R.M. Group, we carry out complete overhauls of loading arms, gangways, folding stairs, and safety cages. We do this both on site and in our fully equipped workshop in Antwerp.

Each overhaul includes:

  • Thorough inspection and disassembly
  • Detailed inspection report with recommendations
  • Cleaning and repair of parts
  • Replacement of wear sensitive components
  • Reassembly and testing according to technical specifications
  • Documentation and final reporting

If possible, we perform technical upgrades during the overhaul so that the installation once again complies with the latest standards. The result is a basically new installation with an extended service life and increased reliability, at a significantly lower cost than complete replacement. In addition, the turnaround time for an overhaul is often considerably shorter than for a new installation, allowing you to resume operations within a shorter time period.
